The seagull was back. I don't know what it's up to; it just lands and walks around the lawn for a couple of minutes before flying off again. It doesn't make any attempt to feed on whatever it is the others peck at in the grass, or pay any attention to them. Maybe it's just a bit introverted and likes to take a few minutes away from the flock, enjoying somewhere peaceful?
It continues sunny and Simpsonesque out, but there's a refreshing touch of breeze coming through the windows. Might shut them soon though, to prevent the afternoon hot air coming in
Quite nice walk with another loony lady yesterday. Free day today, followed by too many things this week, art group, karaoke, leading group walk, history society meet up, book reading, loony lady 1.
[⚠️ Suspicious Content] Eh? Why did the quote below give me that??? Is NF a spy???

Have a continual problem driving on my road, have to stop cos of pigeons wandering around pecking at it. What they find to eat on a road I have no idea.
PS Google says they like eating grit. Maybe I'll do that so don't have to drive to Sainsburies.

No idea about the suspicious content warning
I do sometimes see them pecking at the drive, but I think on the lawn they're going after tiny insects and the like. I've noticed that the pigeons will just wander around on there pecking all the time, whereas the magpies tend to wander about scrutinising the lawn closely, then will suddenly dart a foot or so to peck at something. Maybe magpies are a bit fussier
In Blood, Sweat & Chrome they've finally made it to the Namibian desert and started shooting! This is after a prolonged period of constructing the vehicles, followed by yet another delay of a couple of years caused initially by floods in the Australian outback. They decided to go to Namibia instead and the studio started arguing that it would be too expensive. So they put all the cars on a ship to Namibia, then told the studio "The cars are going there, so unless you want to pay to bring them all back again, we're shooting in Namibia"
