It's another day with sunny spells but seeming likely to become increasingly cloudy, and there's quite a strong and chilly breeze as well. As a result it's 9°C but "feels like" 4°, so the expected high of 13° might be higher than yesterday but will probably feel chillier. The barometers are optimistic though, being up to 1011/1019mB
I just remembered I had some beef short ribs in the fridge that need to be used, and this time they're not too big for the slow cooker. So they're in there now, with some Hobgoblin stout, veg, and herbs in the bottom of the pot, for eight hours of slow pot roasting. And the delicious aroma of fried beef, from browning them before putting them in, lingers in the air
