Telly tonight was Manhunt on C4, with Manchester plod looking for a bunch of guys who kidnapped a bloke. It's good, if you like that kind of thing

Then the evening reading was Colditz: Prisoners of the Castle by Ben Macintyre

And there's been mucking around with SpriteKit and GameplayKit stuff, mainly figuring out some nonsense where stuff kept vanishing because when a method was called from a closure there was only a weak reference to it, or some such nonsense

We made it out of Madeira and arrived at our hotel in Lisbon shortly before midnight. Got a room upgrade at the Intercontinental. We could have stayed at an airport hotel but this is nicer, and BA are paying. Leaving around lunchtime, we hope!

Tea: Tesco battered haddock etc. Nice enough now I don't cook it to death, like. Easier on elderly teeth too.

Entertainment: PM. <click> <click> <click>. Seldom Glummer was on for a while pontificating about airports & suchlike. No mention of hamburgers though.

Some bolloxy bollox on Blaze that was so uninneresting I washed the dishes for extra excitement.

Shooter S3 E6, E7, though it really counts as tomorrow being after midnight. Only another 6 eps left after this lot.

The lift engineer has just been, and the lift is - in theory - working again!

I think I'll let other people notice and give it a try before venturing in there myself, given that the last few times it was fixed, it lasted a couple of hours before getting stuck again

Another day, another airport! Although this is nothing compared to previous, more bonkers, trips nor the one coming up in a couple of weeks' time.

Anyway, we are at Lisbon airport, in the ANA lounge. (Not ANA the Japanese airline) Last time we were here the lounge was an overcrowded zoo and I hated it. This time, it's much calmer, and cleaner.
