I got some more of that fancy foreign ham so lunch has been a fancy foreign ham cob with a bag of plain crisps. Just how the Italians have it, probably

Two chainsaws sharpened, one blunted already (have you ever seen stones in the middle of tree trunks?), went old school in the end with a 16lb gentle persuader a splitting iron and an axe head. Big stump now out, and I’m exhausted.

No Chinese tonight. Instead, I went to the chip shop for a steak & kidney Pukka pie with chips and gravy. Nice enough, though these days I'm more used to my pies being fresh out of the oven rather than having sat in a hot display cabinet for however long
