No dinner. 12 hours at the new monitor today and I'm.left feeling queasy and headachy. It seems dark mode doesn't work on everything so I need to tweak more settings to make it easier on the eye.

Remembered I had some strawberries leftover from last summer in the freezer, so I had them with the last of the salted caramel ice cream. A very nice combination

Finished reading Nevil Shute’s last novel, Trustee from the Toolroom, and now venturing forth upon A Town Like Alice

And once again I learn that if you want to get an early night, you shouldn’t start reading a Nevil Shute novel. That’s A Town Like Alice finished

A great book, and the film was all the poorer for leaving out the second half of it
