    Morning all (just)

Lovely and sunny earlier, now it's a bit overcast. As part of my efforts to get fit, this week's dog walking was 64.8km - 40 miles in old money. Problem is that The Dog (tw) is exhausted all the time and losing more weight than I am.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

So The Dog(tw) is dog-tired then.

          The shopping has been done

Not having been at that time on Friday morning for a while, I'd forgotten that M&S is full of old people, and Sainsbury's has a lot of people trying to beat the lunchtime rush, thereby creating a mini-rush

And while I always leave with the vague feeling I've forgotten something, this time I was absolutely certain. Halfway across the car park, it came to me: a couple of southern not-fried chicken thighs from the food counter for lunch. So lunch will be something else, and possibly even slightly better for me

Why is it that whenever I venture, Specifically into General, that I regret it.

The red mist descends and the gun oil comes out.

And so it came to pass. Well, the "something else" bit; not sure about the "better for me". Pâté on toasted white sesame seed bloomer, and very tasty it was

I've just taught them how to use tables, so at least things might be laid out a bit better in there from now on

Chap here wants to glue polycarbonate sheets together.

                  This requires Nasty Stuff.

The Nasty Stuff MSDS asks for a respirator with an AX filter.

Which I can't find locally (or in the Usual Suppliers) for love nor money.

                  Ho hum.

                  Just stumbled across this:

                  https://apps.dtic.mil/dtic/tr/fulltext/u2/a512331.pdf

                  which brought

Poetry Lovers' Page - Rudyard Kipling: Arithmetic on the Frontier

                  to mind.

Those who don't know history etc.

I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).

I'd prefer it if it wasn't.
