Network fixed, then immediately broke again

By then it was time for lunch so off to the petrol station I went. Got back, ate chicken on oatmeal roll, and got the chap back to fix it again. All working now

Oooo, that reminds I must have a template somewhere, though I haven't seen it in decades.

              Ooo, looks nice.

I never knew how to use the more complex scales.

In other news, looks like Ole Rattly in the Project Room is about to give up the ghost.

The hard disk failed to spin up twice after the most recent round of updates.

It got there on the 3rd attempt.

Take it out and give it a gentle tap with a rubber matter, usually does the trick. Until it doesn't

I've got a pretty decent slide rule, but I can't remember what make it is

It must have cost a fair amount when ZeitPater bought it.

He was a much more generous man than I.

In other other news, the stereo indicator on the Yamaha CT7000 has lit up.

I wonder if that means it's receiving stuff in stereo now.

Well the light comes on for R4 which is solidly mono at the moment.

Doesn't seem to do so for R3 or R2.

I wonder if they turn the subcarrier on & off.
