And waddya know? I brought a brolly due to the forecast of grim weather, and it turns out it's quite nice out there, the sun having shone for a while earlier after the monsoon had passed.

And the only constructive thing I've done all day is putting my month per A4 sheet calendar together with sticky tape.

    Which is better than nothing.

    Just.
It seems to have cleared up here too - nice moon shining brightly over Sainsbury's Local

Was that after reading some of my posts? I bet Cojak has peaked well over that

I had to remind myself that it's a couple of days too early to start howling at it.

          You sure it's calibrated correctly?

A lot of them aren't so you are suppose to check it at home and confirm your reading is nearly the same as the one they have at the doctor's reception or pharmacy.

New plan: shorten the process of getting through it all by making corned beef hash for tea.

I've never made corned beef hash before, but from what I can see it isn't that hard…

Unfortunately it is calibrated correctly, if it wasn't then The Wife (tm) wouldn't be doing her job properly.

You just make a hash of it and hey presto.

I'm pretty confident of managing that

The corned beef hash was pretty nice, as it turned out

Unexpected bonus of corned beef hash: I can have a large glass of wine and still be under my daily calorie allowance

Not eating half-a-dozen digestives this morning and only having one bag of crisps this afternoon probably also helps
