The roadworks at this end have become utterly ridiculous. I think I'll have to take a different route home. I wouldn't get back any sooner, but at least I'd be moving rather than having ten minutes added to the journey to travel round one roundabout and a couple of hundred yards down the road

Barclays have revamped the Neath branch.

So now all the counters have disappeared to be replaced by machines.

I don't use machines so I walked out.

There's the business counter in the Swansea branch (also revamped), so I'll use that the next time I'm in Swansea.

Mind you neither branch is as revamped as the Glyn Neath branch is about to be when they close it.

Then the nearest branch will be in Aberdare, a mere 11 miles away.

I can remember when there were branches in places like Resolven, but all those closed decades ago.

They're closing the branch in Morriston too. Then the nearest branch is a mile away in the Enterprise* zone.
