Just lifted 3 of those wonderful asbestos containing marley tiles.

The ones that are stuck down with bitumen.

    Which also contains asbestos.

I bought some very expensive glue to see if that will work.

I'll bet my bottom dollar that it won't.

I've also repaired the antique drying frame thing that I hang clothes on to dry in the house.

We shall see if the glue works on that too.

Though it's helped in places by screws.

In answer to the question above re the eggs: the yolks are orange.

      Very orange.

The eggs were reduced in Tesco 3 or 4 week ago.

      Can never resist a bargain.

The leaky washing machine has been depositing rusty water under itself.

Looks like bad news to me.

And I'm sure this Jif direct to floor floor cleaner stuff is helping lift these goddamn tiles.

            Quite possibly.

            Tasted a bit fishy.

Isn't salmon meant to be pink?

And no doubt GALs are unafraid of such trifles as salmonella :-)

Just spent an irritating half an hour or so attempting without success to find tongue & groove pine floorboards on the B&Q site.

I can find them in Wickes with a simple search.

I saw them in B&Q this morning.

I just want to know if they do them in 1.8m instead of 2.1m.

                  Do you own a saw?

Could you cut 30cm off them?

I have more saws than you could shake a stick at, but I can't even find the boards I saw in the fecking shop this morning on that useless site.

It could all be an illusion of course. Maybe it's all a dream & I'll wake up soon.
