This is shaping up nicely. Other things we'll need are;
Flag
National anthem
National sport
Official animal.
For the latter I'd like to nominate the Tibetan blackbird. Obviously having Tibet in its common name is a drawback, but its Latin name (turdus maximus)http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turdus_maximus should indicate what we stand for admirably. Besides, if you're going to nick stuff from another country, Tibet should be ideal.Comment

It's not as if we'd be the first. Besides, nobody punished China for it, so we'll get away with it.Originally posted by barrydidit View PostThis is shaping up nicely. Other things we'll need are;

Here's my nomination for the national anthem, because it doesn't sound anything like a national anthem and just because I like it. The world needs less marching songs and more boogie woogie drinking songs.
