I reckon that must give them something.
I thought this myself this very morning EO.
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

Unfortunately, I believe we'll only find out about Maddy once someone dies and confesses on their death bed. I don't think she's alive, not a bit of it.

If I was the parent of a missing child I would be absolutely furious by now. I would be knocking on the doors of the police station asking for the same amount of attention as the they're getting to search for my child. I would be asking the government to allocate the equivalent amount of funds to look for my child. I'm sorry although I feel bad for them having a child going missing I don't like the way that it all seems to about them. They seem to be gallivanting all over the place but where are their other 2 children? Surely they should be with their parents at a time like this and although their parents are trying to keep them out of the spotlight, by continuing to parade themselves in front of the media in this fashion is not doing that.

I believe that the reason a kidnapping is suspected is the elimination of other possibilities? She was not within the range that she could have got to herself and there was no evidence at the room that anything had happened there (like her being chopped up etc.). The only real possibilities are that someone took her without the parent's consent (i.e. a kidnapping)or that the parents are complicit in her disappearance.

I'd add that she could have wondered off and something else happened, drowning, covered up car accident.

There will always be some judgemental so and so criticising you. The focus of ire from these self righteous pillocks and their "cotton wool kids" seems to be at the Mcanns not at the true culprit which is the kidnapper. Infact I would go so far as to say that quite a lot of people regard what has happened as their "comeuppance", which I find pretty disgusting.
Dodgy I think that's the first time I've agreed with a post of yours in it's entirety - I need to go and lie down for a bit.

Out of interest, does anyone else ever leave their kids' bedroom windows open at night in very hot weather?

Of course they do, but the moment a kid wakes up to find a swarm of bees in their room (plausible but very unlikely) everyone will be piling in about what terrible parents the kid had.
