3.5 mile jog last night. I also took all 3 bikes in for repair last night so hopefully I can start cycling to/from work from Monday.Comment

In my experience, if you had one to many fry-ups, it won't show up for a couple of weeks, but just in time for you to be depressed because you were good the previous week.
So don't get downhearted if the scales go up during the week you've been good, just keep at it.
Also the continentals look at their weight from a forward point view rather than the Brit 'backward look' as described above.
So if they've been bad (a couple of bottles of wine and a really good meal rather than 5 pints and a MaccyD usually) they don't fret over it, they just know to ease up over the next couple of days.
Good work everyone."I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."

I've decided to carry on as before.
Since moving to cloggers I've lost more weight simply because there is no infatuation with diet and food as there is in the UK.
I've yet to meet someone who is on a diet, people don't obsess about carbs/no carbs/salads/not drinking/cutting out lard/ whatever and everyone is gernally quite active so it's encouraged me to do the same.
In my last clientco pretty much most of the women were on diets and similarly the men everyone was obsessed with cutting out something and exercising loads and no one seemed to lose weight.
It also helps the clientco canteen serves carp so I end up going for salad or fruit and the readymeals are pretty awful so I end up cooking from scratch most of the time.Comment

Martial arts last night with SY05 (eldest boy, 7). Then pub for a catch up with my mate, sticking to the soda water (tell myself it's diet lager). Also did not smoke.
The exercise and lower calorie intake is starting to show. My legs are toned , and arms are looking slimmer.
The middle of me is still the same though, so I look like a donut with toned appendagesKnock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment
