It always amuses me the number of people who drive to the gym and then park as close to the door as they can.

I stop going to the Gym in Jan for the same reason. Too many people.

These bloody fitness freaks that talk about going for the burn, and doing sprints / sets / bursts make me think of Jim Fixx.

Day 6 today. I am still off the carbs - slightly less craving last night. No exercise so far today - when I get home I must go for a run or swim.

I always weigh myself on a Saturday - tomorrow morning is going to be interesting! Thing I find about dieting is that nothing changes for 4-6 weeks - then suddenly I drop a couple of kg. Maybe the body compensates by retaining water?

Stop weighing yourself and start measuring your waist instead!

And yes, if you exercise then the body will retain some extra fluid in the muscles for anything between a few hours and a few days; that can easily be a couple of kilos over your whole body.

Not sure I have a tape measure that large. And the scales say "no coach parties".

Weigh day again today. Now 21 pounds lighter than at 31st October.
