Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

"I think I might have read something somewhere that said something or other" is hardly a solid body of fact on which to base an opinion.

Similarly for other artists I looked at.

          Not £6.71 then.

Why do we always get stiffed? I know it's better than yesteryear but still.

I'm not convinced. The iPad is wireless only so that limits the pool of organisations that can use it - otherwise, I would have a seen of lot laptops being carried around.

The screenshots seem to indicate the iBookstore could meet somewhere in the middle for new releases

Yep, the thing I can see it being used for is advertising/meedja types to show off things in presentations. It's right up their street.

...which doesn't say anything that could be interpreted as supporting the OP's contention. All it says is that publishers are pissed off at what they perceive as Amazon forcing them to sell stuff for less than they think it's worth, and may choose to go with Apple if they think they'll get a better return on their investment.

Can't see that happening to be honest. Only one/two people can view it at once. You're better off with print outs

Also, Can you connect it to a) a projector or b) the network (not wifi) once IT bod has found some cables?
