Who voted egg, and was that serious or just pissing about? Have many people tried egg curry out of interest? The texture of the egg complements non-creamy curries quite well.

The whole point of the curry is that it doesn't matter what kind of meat it is surely. Or even whether it has gone off a bit.Comment

You only eat an egg curry once. But you will see it again the next day, many, many times. Briefly, as your eyes will start watering on each occasion.Originally posted by d000hg View PostNot many. But that's not the point, you rarely see duck or egg curry either.

Very good! I really like okra AKA bhindi AKA ladies fingers in a curry. I was in Chennai earlier this month and most restaurants are veggie; had a superb okra curry there.

you may find this funny because you specify meat in your quistion but I have to be quite honest and say that in my opion there is nothing better than a vegetable thali. This is very popular in the part of India I come from and is normally served on a silver platter.Comment

Because although that's what you might get, you won't see it on the menu. Ergo you don't choose it.Originally posted by zeitghostWhy no option for Alsation or cat?

The vast majority of Indian restaurants/takeaways in the UK are owned by muslim Bangladeshis - hence beef being on the menu and pork not.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment
