The whole point of the curry is that it doesn't matter what kind of meat it is surely. Or even whether it has gone off a bit.

Not many. But that's not the point, you rarely see duck or egg curry either.

You only eat an egg curry once. But you will see it again the next day, many, many times. Briefly, as your eyes will start watering on each occasion.

Very good! I really like okra AKA bhindi AKA ladies fingers in a curry. I was in Chennai earlier this month and most restaurants are veggie; had a superb okra curry there.

you may find this funny because you specify meat in your quistion but I have to be quite honest and say that in my opion there is nothing better than a vegetable thali. This is very popular in the part of India I come from and is normally served on a silver platter.

The vast majority of Indian restaurants/takeaways in the UK are owned by muslim Bangladeshis - hence beef being on the menu and pork not.
