Read the thread again - apart from Churchill's initial misjudged post he made some good points including educating children to not to worry about things they can't control.
Agreed, it would have to be considered a bit on the soft side to be crying about your team losing if you're 32, but the lad was only 7.

It might have been the first time it happened. The original poster mentioned it in passing, and got congratulated on raising the next generation of scum. I don't get wound up by much, but I found that to be totally offensive.

I couldn't say that to my worst enemy, let alone some random on an internet forum.

Well you've got a point - but BB is a regular and will expect it.
Pointless taking offence here, wouldn't you say? You'd be in a perennial lather if you did

Yes it was a classic thread. 2200 views in a few hours. Hope you didn't take offence - as you can see CUK hasn't changed. And long may it stay the same.

Just you wait til I mention Ir35 & Family Tax - although I guess you guys have done that oen to death.

Anyway, in the true spirit of CUK [ and to keep this post rolling ]...

...My 7 year old has not been reponsible for the deaths of over 100 football fans and numerous £££ worth of damage to property over the last 50 years - so to call him [ or me ] scum is a bit Pot, Kettle Black syndrome [ assuming you're all english f***wits ].

                    Sorry,

Great that this was a hugely amusing thread, but calling someone's child 'scum' because they follow a football team is just so wrong.

Even more wrong, is that grown-ups on this forum chime in with it and defend the twat that propositioned it.

Take a long, hard look at yourselves in the mirror please. PLEASE!

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.
