I had a very (and I mean very) slight input into a RASSO project a year or two back that was focused on digital evidence gathering and you'd be surprised at the horrendous timescales currently involved in the process, to the point many victims just give up and (I presume) withdraw their complaint. The project, if it went ahead as planned would reduce certain evidence gathering massively and hopefully improve the investigation of RASSO complaints.
BTW: this was a 'publicly announced' initiative so I'm not breaking any confidencesComment

Hope they get on with a trial as quickly as possible. If every paper keeps reporting on unearthed clips about him being offensive they are gonna be at it for years. He's a shock jock, difficult to find any clips of him not being offensive.
Getting really tedious now.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!

I doubt there will be any prosecution. I imagine some civil claims though.Originally posted by northernladuk View PostHope they get on with a trial as quickly as possible. Personally, if Brand doesn't sue the papers then I'm deeming him bang to rights. Numerous people have stated he has previously been very litigious about this sort of thing.Last edited by JustKeepSwimming; 21 September 2023, 19:20.Comment

Think that might be him? I can't really remember it, but it was like a week before Hew so people might have just assumed it was him. Yet the particulars, BBC already had a programme they wanted to air and its women accusers, don't fit. Arrested and questioned about 3 allegations, a 4th allegation not pursued.
If it is then a lot of the far right-ers are going to look a bit silly with all their screams of 'Y DEY NO GO 2 DA POLICE!'Last edited by JustKeepSwimming; 22 September 2023, 03:15.Comment

That sounds more like a Footballer. Kudos to the Judge for letting the police deal with it and not let it turn into a trail by media.Originally posted by JustKeepSwimming View Post

The Article you link does prove that many women do in fact go the police to report sexual assaults against famous people like Footballers. But none of the 1000+ women that Brand had sex with ever made a police report against him???Last edited by Fraidycat; 22 September 2023, 07:13.Comment

Would he not need to be able to prove it's lies though? It's really just one word against another at this point.Originally posted by JustKeepSwimming View Post
