Did anyone else spend yesterday's bank holiday by helping those that cannot afford to live?

"To mark His Majesty The King’s Coronation thousands of organisations across the country are getting together to give us all the chance to help out in our own local communities."

I'm hope the irony of using a event that cost £100M to put a hat on a man, to encourage this, is not lost on people.

Me, I spent some of Saturday morning shouting at the TV and then extracted myself from the area for the sake my own sanity, and the health of said TV.

The Met said a review found there was no proof the six protesters, who were arrested when their vehicle was stopped near the procession route, were suspected of planning to use "lock on" devices.

Yes it did rather amuse me. Met policeman overreacts. But I suppose better that then arresting the people protesting at the protestors stopping them getting to work. Still no harm done. For a change.

What also amuses me is the hysterics from the Republican prat in charge. No harm was done, nothing got disrupted other than his fragile ego and his day out in the rain, his point was made very clearly (that there is a group that want royalty abolished for a fairly specious set of reasons, but if that's what they believe then fine), and so he's going to court to get compensayshun, He should be grateful for the publicity, it's not like anyone knew he existed before Saturday.

Actually lots of harm has been done.

Until this law is removed everyone needs to be careful what they have in their boot in their car/what they have on them in case they go near a town centre/high street where a protest is going to happen that day.

That doesn't constitute harm. Or do you think the police don't know who the likely offenders are and just pick people at random? Their information is way better than that.
