Yeah probably worth watching on iPlayer so you can fast forward the bits you don't like."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JR -
Not seen most of that out here in the sticks, to be fair. Lots about Beltane and the murdered boy in Bath though...Originally posted by SueEllen View Post
The second group work with the local police in Westminster handing out stuff at night like flip flops, vomit bags and rape alarms. Apparently the extra police they drafted in didn't know who they were and so the intelligence they got was clearly incorrect.
In regards to the Republicans -they had spend days liaising with the police so they could hold their peaceful demonstration. The police even arrested the egg throwing guy. He had absolutely nothing on him apart from his wallet as he had been warned by his probation officer his moves were being monitored. They then dearrested him.
This is all easy to find in the media as it is one of the top news items today.
The Met have scored another own goal in getting yet another sector of people in London to not trust them.
The world is a bit bigger that the bit inside the M25, which deserves its nickname of the Great Wen (why do you think I moved out to somewhere more civilised many years ago?). And I think the Met are at the bottom of any level of respect they can expect already. Snag is their continuing failures are infecting people's perception of the rest of the various police services across the UK, especially by those who only news source is Telegram and Twitter.Blog? What blog...?

So you’ve gone from “everyone they arrested deserved to be arrested” to “well, it didn’t happen out here so I don’t care”Originally posted by malvolio View Post

Are you really that far into your belief system that you can’t see how terrible this country has become as it lurches further to the right over the last decade?…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

You started out asking for proof. You were given proof. You now say that it’s irrelevant.Originally posted by malvolio View Post

I didn't say it was irrelevant. Merely parochial. And pointing there are far more trivial and far more serious things to protest about.Originally posted by WTFH View Post

Got a call at lunchtime asking if I wanted to re-start my Chemo treatment after 4 weeks off due to recovering from an infection; 30 minutes later I was in a ward and ready to get plugged in
Best bank holiday ever as I was desperate to restart on the road to 'hopeful' recovery
; also, saved a four hour round trip to Tenby with the wife (love her really
