As far as I can tell, they hadn't actually attached themselves to any objects. I don't know whether they were intending to or not.

NB This group aren't protesters, and they've been operating for quite a while (not just on the day of the coronation). There are also unfortunate connotations when the Met say that they don't want women to have rape alarms (after one of their officers was convicted of rape and murder last year).
