Funny how "algebra" and "algorithm" both come from Arabic then

THe idea that vegetarianism and environmentalism is political is one of the big blockers to getting things done. Foolish people "it's my right to have someone else feed my child what I want them to eat".

Thinking about it. I actually co-own a nursery school though I am director only.
We do not have a vegetarian policy but we don't serve a lot of meat; partly due to environmental foundations of our ethos and partly because meat is expensive and we do not charge for meals on top of what Rishi & Nadhim generously(!) give us as funding.
In fact, nearly all our meat comes from a food-waste charity who sell food boxes; it's quite normal for several days a week to be meat-free depending what we get and if it wasn't for this I imagine we'd be virtually vegetarian.

Why would I want to? I having been failed by teachers and lied to by Lecturers at college I now earn more than either of them and I don't have to put up with teenagers or the opinionated idiots that run these institutions. Two friends are school administrators and both describe little empires with backbiting and unprofessional behaviour,

You know the way to fix something isn't to say "lets see you do the job"? Its not big, its not clever.

Things like political vegetarianism should not be imposed in schools. Period.
A few of my friend's children have very serious dairy and in some cases egg allergies, Vegan diets fix both. I have no problem with my children eating a varied vegan diet at school if needed or having it as an option. The kids with allergies see sticky toffee pudding and get an apple, hardly fair.

Many of the meals are vegetarian anyway at our schools as many of the children are culturally and religiously driven vegetarians.

You do like to complain about everything, and claim you have the solution and it's easy, and yet you don't put your money where your mouth is.

Instead of just talking, why not do something?

I listened to my teachers which is why I'm a Buddhist creationist.
