Here in London people use bus stops.

Yesterday I saw a guy drinking at a bus stop.

When lockdown first occurred I saw an old lady with a shopping trolley throw empty spirit bottles into a bin near a bus stop.
Since drinking on the Tube was banned, there's a dearth of public access drinking spots now

Well the other half's school has closed early today. Two thirds of the classes affected now so pointless carrying on. Complete confusion about what to do at the end of the hols if infection rates still spiking. Being no yard stick for when it's safe they've no guides what to do. Could be just open and make the best of what rolls in.

There is only one school open today in my area. Though I saw about 10 children travel to it.

What drives me up the ******* wall is our local community fb chat is talking about the Y6's not getting a leaving do and the parents are trying to organise one for them. That would be the Y6's that are isolating becuase of covid? But yeah, go ahead and arrange a party for them. Nothing wrong with that right?

Getting proper heated so could be worth following the thread if my bloody pressure would allow it.

Pretty sure this was illegal (if caught) well before Covid...

Postie turned up today with a package (chia and flax seeds), rather earlier than normal. He said the office was only doing parcels today, because 61 members of staff are off for covid related reasons. Bonkers - I wouldn't even have guessed there were that many staff in total.

Well n not if none of them have it and it's only due to ridiculous bubbles which now don't exist (actually not sure if the rules already changed but they might have).

They might not but there could be two parents per child in attendance at these does. They aren't small things nowadays.

Those parents can also go to the pub and mingle, or whatever. If it's within the law and no kids have symptoms I don't see why they shouldn't when everyone else is able to do stuff.

Granted there is nothing in the law stopping them. Common sense of organising a large gathering when they are actually off because they've been pinged or are isolating due to close contact is well... erm.... yeah.
