I think I preferred it when the forum wasn't full to the brim of arguments and pedantry, such as both of you arguing above. Can't we all get along? Perhaps we could all just accept that some people like bitcoin, despite it's lack of true coin-ability, whilst sipping our flavoured water at home.
For the record, being a long time lurker, the mods appear rather fair and are doing their best to stop abuse. At one stage, from being a reader, this was endemic. It's diminishing after harsher actions are in place, which is a good thing.
