If America did stop muslim immigration, would the amount of terrorism in America in the future would be less than it would otherwise be? I would imagine yes. For an average american who does not have muslim friends or relatives, is there a downside to this policy?

It will certainly be used as propaganda by IS.

It's not even as though a person's religion is on their passport, so how will he know? Just tick Christian on the immigration form, and make sure you don't tick the boxes marked "Do you have any nuclear weapons" and "Are you a terrorist"

Yep it will further radicalize the ones on the edge and make most Muslims more anti-american.

Given that they wouldn't see themselves as a terrorist, they wouldn't consider themselves as lying. One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter and all that.
