Everyone has their individual views. Mine is simple, they are welcome if they work. Tax credits and Benefits should be reserved for individuals that are born in the UK. Some immigrants abuse the system and come here solely for our benefits which is completely wrong, others come to earn an honest living and build a better life for their families and I respect that.Comment

You have ignored the part of British culture that allows people to disagree with each other and hold different views, then rip the p*ss out of each other.Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostNo"You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

What happens if someone comes here at one month old and stays here for the rest of their life. Are they not allowed benefits if they fall on hard times during their working life?Originally posted by jamespoole View PostEveryone has their individual views. No. You made a stupid generalisation and are being called out on it. What about refugees who've been granted indefinite leave to remain? What about people who after fulfilling the criteria, become naturalised citizens? What about refugees who've been granted a short term leave to remain (until conditions in their home country settle down)? What about people who come here at 30 years old, work for 15 years, and then get laid off because their job has been outsourced to India?Originally posted by jamespoole View Postthat's just being pedantic.
Being born in the UK doesn't event automatically grant citizenship, so your individual view is even more dumb and ill-thought out.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment
