Please don't assume my "success" stemmed from contracting. It didn't.
I still like silly cars, gadgets not so much.

Not going to argue with you any further over Trump, you seem to rather like him. Me? I'll stick with the ****tard comment.
    I'm a smug bastard.

Shrewd, maybe, but all it is doing is saying "I can't run this business, so I'll declare it bankrupt"

That's not how you run a country. You have to work out how to run it and run it when it is going badly also when it is going well.

Oh come on, the dude graduated from Harvard and Yale for god's sake.

Read what Keith Hennessey, Lecturer at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business has to say about him.

          Cool.

Let's not argue. I don't like him either.

I don't like the CEO of my company, but I respect how smart and manipulative the ****er is.

Assuming that you are a contractor, isn't yourself the CEO of your company?

Running for office and running a country are not the same concept and often lead to different conclusions.

Whether he will be a good leader is not my argument. I am simply saying the guy is smart.

An alcoholic until he was 40, "cured" by the fact that he crashed a plane, while p*ssed, when he hadn't flown one before.

                A right genius.

No, I just turned to the darkside this after 24 years of contracting. I'm weathering the storm at the moment, but plan to return.

On the forum mostly out of nostalgia, but also because I am in a hiring position and going through the fun of agency selection and all that nonsense and being here gives me a good insight into recruitment and retention of talent.

Again completley different concepts. substance dependndency is not an indicator of inteligence.

Hunter S. Thomson and Stephen Fry bounced from every substance known to mankind. Pretty smart guys IMHO.
