IT as in replacing keyboards and mice or IT as in doing high performance, high security, high value cryptocurrency algorithms
They're both IT but completely different markets. -
As Paralytic indicates, just talking about 'the market' as a whole isn't helpful. It's also driven by our clients so their market is also a factor.
There is a long thread where we wax lyrical about it and people put their anecdotes in but it's down to your skills and what clients really want.

But I also agree with others that there's no "IT market", it's a very loose aggregation of many markets at a scale where generalisations are possible, a bit like the "contracting market".Comment
