Rate cuts by the BOE. Probably the first of many more this year.

Maybe lower rates wont make any difference to the state of the market, but for sure there wont be any recovery if rates remain at current levels.

        This is what you posted....

"thank all the Friends of Farage for restricting your business to UK only."

Which is clearly wrong and I cited my own case as an example!

Well I’ve seen it all now… this is a first agent put a job on LI and Indian guy replied saying don’t bother recruiting for it in U.K. outsource it to us India for much cheaper price… Brazen hey!

IT sunk contending with outsourcing abroad and all the thousands of visas given out in last decade or so …nigh on impossible now 😑

As I have said asked a few times now, why would a company want to hire UK employees WFH when they can get the same labour abroad WFH at a lower price.

The state of the market has partly been caused by everyone wanting to WFH, I believe.

Alas, as people have said, perhaps the market as changed and this is the new norm. Few contracts, being fought over internationally.

It certainly won't make things any worse. But I have no clue anymore when the market will start to recover.

Nope, I don't buy that at all.

The first statement could be phrased "why would a company want to hire UK employees working in an expensive (London) office when they can get the same labour abroad WFH at a lower price" OR better still "why would a company want to hire UK employees working in an expensive (London) office when they can get the same labour WFH saving the cost of the rent"

Don't agree at all. Market is bad cos of a mixture of brexit, ir35, cost of living, higher interest rates, ukraine, gaza. Not cos of remote working. You seemed obsessed by wanting to be in the office.
