    Are you stockpiling?

Quite apart from the total snarl-up we've likely to get at the border, aren't a lot of products about to jump substantially in price? I've not read anywhere what sort of trade tariffs the WTO rules dictate.

So are you going through your pantry and kitchen/bathroom products checking which come from the EU so you can get stocked up?

It's mostly perishables such as fruits and vegs and the freezer can only have so much. Can't stockpile Volvos or Mercedeses unfortunately.

Buy one now, you won't be allowed another fossil-fuel car.

The OH started over the summer. We could set up a shop with what's in our spare room.

I had to agree, though, that it seemed prudent with winter+covid+brexit.
Scoots still says that Apr 2020 didn't mark the start of a new stock bull market.

Not stockpiling bog roll and the like yet, but I am getting rather concerned about medicine.
You see I have to take 14 different types of tablets every day.
I know some of these originate in plants on the European mainland.

Bog roll is made in the UK so you don't need to stockpile that.

If you have a specialist diet even though the products may be made in the UK, I would have a decent supply of that as when people were panic buying due to Covid they brought all the specialist food.

Medication you are probably screwed especially if it is on prescription.

GP normally prescribes three months worth in advance due to me travelling. However, he added on an extra month this time around.

Was just checking to see if "stockpiling" was defined in UD. It is.

I have had a chat with my GP about this but some meds they can only supply a limited amount of. I can only get around a fortnight of certain painkillers at a time for example.
