Originally posted by WTFH View PostWell, if they do not come up with a workable solution, then it's a hard Brexit, return to the Troubles in NI, and lots of DM headlines about how the EU is to blame (or deflection headlines to take away from the real issues)
The example I am going to give to the youth is that despite the idiotic majority who voted to leave the EU, but then skulked away into the corners and refused to do anything positive about it, that it is possible to carry on with the same ethics and principles I have today. Treat others the way I would like to be treated. Search for the truth, not the hype. Respect others. Respect the environment. Know where your food comes from. Try to do something positive, not negative.
What example are you giving to the youth? Oh yes... If you do not get your own way it's okay to spit out your dummy and cry. Make sure you know who to blame for everything, make sure you never accept responsibility for everything, don't worry about the environment or others, as long as you're alright. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't existComment

It's happening - what are you going to do to support it?Originally posted by WTFH View PostWhen one of your lot comes up with a plan that is workable, then there'll be support. For now there are dreams, soundbites and zero substance, just like for the last 2+ years. If the Brexit supporters/leaders can come up with an idea that they can explain and present arguments for that are backed up with facts, then maybe the process will move forward.Originally posted by original PM View PostAnd if they do not are you going to sit in a corner, sulk and starve?

I do not think the youth of today need that encouragement - do you?
It appears those of us who voted to remain are supposed to be supporting something, but we have been given no clue by the Brexit camp what it is, so why shouldn't the "bellends" who voted for it show some support and come up with ideas as to what we are meant to be supporting, or is it just easier for them to say "not my job, someone else's problem, must be someone else I can blame"…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

You keep asking for detail but, really, that's a bit petty minded. That can all be sorted out over the next 50 or so years. Or whenever.

Brexit: The Opiate of the People (or 48% of them)

More than that however: Brexit is an idealogy, but a particular type of idealogy called 'faith'. When you are asked to believe in God it's not a case that "We might not be able to give you much evidence for what we say". It's categorically "We will not give you any evidence. If you have evidence, it is no longer a faith. You need to believe unthinkingly. That's what makes it special. That's what makes it promise the solution to all your dreams"
Remoaners just don't see that. They just can't get it. They can't achieve Nirvana (or at least the hope that Nirvana will arrive one sunny day) because they keep asking pointless questions.
