The economy will drag along keeping workers' wages stagnant and of course the Tories will systematically dismantle employment protection. Contractors will be slightly hit by the vastly increased influx of Indians. Farmers will find it tougher competing with American and Australasian meet producers. So plenty of realities but all can be glossed over by our Brexiteer colleagues.

Brexit is like religion. Religion gives you pain all your life in return for a big pay-off when you die. Brexit gives you pain for the next 50 years when, according to JRM, some undefined brave new world will be there for all to see.
Can't wait. What you gonna do about it for 50 years exactly? Bitch and whine like a worthless guardian reading dick?

Well, probably better than sticking my head in the sand like a worthless Express reading dick.

But you are sticking your head in the sand - the UK is leaving the EU and sitting there moaning about it and not looking to the future is the almost exact definition of sticking your head in the sand.

It's happening - what are you going to do to support it?

When one of your lot comes up with a plan that is workable, then there'll be support. For now there are dreams, soundbites and zero substance, just like for the last 2+ years. If the Brexit supporters/leaders can come up with an idea that they can explain and present arguments for that are backed up with facts, then maybe the process will move forward.

And if they do not are you going to sit in a corner, sulk and starve?

What example are you going to give to the youth? If you do not get your own way it is okay to spit your dummy out and cry?

I do not think the youth of today need that encouragement - do you?

No. Just laugh and gloat. Brexit isn't going to affect the likes of me, it'll affect the likes of you.
              Hard Brexit now!

I think you should get what you voted for.
The way you go on, anyone would think Brexit is a bad thing

Well, if they do not come up with a workable solution, then it's a hard Brexit, return to the Troubles in NI, and lots of DM headlines about how the EU is to blame (or deflection headlines to take away from the real issues)

The example I am going to give to the youth is that despite the idiotic majority who voted to leave the EU, but then skulked away into the corners and refused to do anything positive about it, that it is possible to carry on with the same ethics and principles I have today. Treat others the way I would like to be treated. Search for the truth, not the hype. Respect others. Respect the environment. Know where your food comes from. Try to do something positive, not negative.

What example are you giving to the youth? Oh yes... If you do not get your own way it's okay to spit out your dummy and cry. Make sure you know who to blame for everything, make sure you never accept responsibility for everything, don't worry about the environment or others, as long as you're alright.

It's funny because those who voted remain did so for reasons such as

I want to work in the EU with no barriers
I am not affected by refugees so let more in
I want to be part of Europe

where as brexiters are more like

We do not believe being part of the EU is a benefit to the majority of people in the UK
We believe the UK can do better outside of the EU for the majority of people in the UK

We are almost using the same arguments to support different sides - except for 1 small difference.
