Interesting times ! Should the government lose at the Supreme Court, would calling a general election be the next step ? But then they would need 2/3 MP's to agree to call for a general election. Would labour MP's vote for a General Election with Corbyn as their leader

I guess with a general election, each candidate would have to let their position known and people can then vote accordingly.

Basically Any authority the UK government had now belongs to hedge fund managers. The way it was before this referendum nonsense. Things can now return to normal.

Yes, but you always were a drama queen with a penchant for conspiracy theories.

Perhaps Spain should send all those pensioners back home; skilled expats in Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy sent packing. Sorry you were saying something about dullards?

This is the krux of it for you, isn't it? Narrow self-interest as someone working abroad over what might be best for the UK populace as a whole.
If I were you I wouldn't worry, if they haven't managed to find someone stupid enough to do whatever mundane activity your measly talents have been put to thus far, I doubt they will bother trying even after Brexit.

Prove to me that any of those exist.

Doesn't take much rewording to see the similarities.

Since I made no claim about how democracy works in my post, I think you'll have to hold onto your crown.

Talking about absolute numbers is a trick politicians do. "This could save £14 MILLION pounds of tax-payers' money" etc. Oh wait, that's 0.000000003% of the budget.

A simple majority is required to repeal the Fixed-term Parliaments Act 2011.

See above. Folly of the highest order.

Actually it does. Brits don't revolt like the French. They says some nasty words and the whole blows over.
