    Of course it should.
But as everyone knows, anything can be triggered in accordance with UK Law. Ask the Iraqis. You just have to petition the "right" Lawyers.

Great. So the High Court has spoken and then it will be appealed to the Supreme Court and we're all happy.

No, Brexit still means Brexit, and anyone who tells you otherwise is wrong.
This has been drilled into us with monotonous by key followers of Brexitologists (which I'm advised is the correct term for a person whose religious conviction is unswerving and unshakable even in the face of reality)

If Members of Parliament vote to defy the stated wishes of the Majority then, come the next Election, most of those that have been recorded as having done so, and essentially ridden roughshod over the will of the people, will hear those very words ringing in their ears as they leave office.
It will be many an out-of-touch MP's epitaph.

No. We didn't have a referendum because the majority wanted it (though they may have). We had a referendum because Cameron a) Want to ensure that UKIP didn't take the Tory vote and
                b) He never thought for a moment that he would lose

Since the referendum was advisory, ostensibly its purpose was to find out what the people think.

They're just scared they'll lose, and we'll have to say to them "You lost, get over it".
Why did he give Scotland a referendum?

Could you imagine the outcry if Scotland voted Leave the UK but the majority in the House said, "Sorry, it was advisory. You're staying".

The enabling legislation for the Scotish vote made it clear that it was binding. Salmond would never have agreed to anything less.

The most amusing outcome would be a second on advisory referendum.
