If Members of Parliament vote to defy the stated wishes of the Majority then, come the next Election, most of those that have been recorded as having done so, and essentially ridden roughshod over the will of the people, will hear those very words ringing in their ears as they leave office.
It will be many an out-of-touch MP's epitaph.

Labour MPs will be deselected anyway by Corbynisters or will stand down so they can vote how they like.

I tell you something funny Shaun for the last 3 or 4 years I have been stuck in a reverse mid-life crisis, I've got to the stage where I can afford all of the toys I dreamed of during the journey, but now don't have the urge to own those toys, and am happier growing potatoes in my garden, or having nice holidays, than spending money on cars and watches
