Has there been any news about the MP JR?

Also, any likelihood of a newsletter in the near future?

An NTRT newsletter is ready and waiting to be sent. We've been holding back for a few days, hoping to be able to confirm that the Montpelier JR has been applied for.

Either way, it will be sent early next week.

            Credit score impact

            Hi,

apologies if my question has already been answered. I am planning to miss my APN date and wait for the JR review outcome before deciding whether to pay up. Does anyone know whether missing the APN date will impact my credit ratings, i.e. will it show on my credit score check? I will obviously write to HMRC explaining why I am not going to pay up by the APN date (not that it will make a huge difference).

            Thanks

I haven't seen an answer to this.

Thanks DR. If even you, being the guru here, have not seen an answer then I guess I will have to consider other sources of information. Do you have any suggestions of where I can look for an answer? Does it make sense to call Inland Revenue and ask them directly whether the credit rating will be impacted?

I'm not sure who I would trust to give you a definitive answer.

HMRC ought to know, so I would try the APN department and see if you can get any sense out of them.

                    Quite a challenge in itself.
Just remember that written words stay, but the rest flies away.
The APN team (like other HMRC teams...) has been known to say one thing on Monday, the opposite on Tuesday, and something else again on Wednesday.
