I was under the impression that de graff users could join taa. Hopefully DR will be along soon to confirm.Originally posted by Kojak View PostOf course and I paid my £200
I do feel for you. MP have stood by their scheme users and it is appreciated.
The more immediate concern for you though is APNs.Comment

Yes, TAA was open to deGraaf users, and a few have signed up.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostI was under the impression that de graff users could join taa. Hopefully DR will be along soon to confirm.
In the last newsletter, we said that we would probably be re-opening the application process at some stage. If/when this happens it will be announced in a newsletter, and people would be able to sign up by following the instructions on this page:
TAA sign-up
NB. you need to be logged in to the NTRT website with your membership username to see this page.Last edited by DonkeyRhubarb; 11 August 2015, 16:43.Comment

A little (or possibly a lot given I paid up 2 APNs only to find out subsequently that a further appeal was possible). Certainly if you're not in TAA then NTRT doesn't appear to offer either pro-active advice or somewhere to discuss the latest developments. That said, CUK doesn't appear to be a hotbed of activity either so I think the set of NTRT members outside of TAA but on CUK must be fairly small.Comment

NTRT has around 600 members in total. Excluding property developers, only around 500 contractors opted in to continue receiving general newsletters. I suspect a fair few of the remaining 100 have settled since we set up NTRT 3.5 years ago or, for other reasons, are no longer interested. One of our guys did follow up with individual emails to these people but he got very few responses.Originally posted by nearlyover View PostThat said, CUK doesn't appear to be a hotbed of activity either so I think the set of NTRT members outside of TAA but on CUK must be fairly small.
Around 460 have either already signed up for TAA or are waiting for us to re-open the application process. So, it is a relatively small number of active members who have decided not to pursue it.Comment
