Ah, an evening event - I figured it was daytime but I guess this is timed for the west coast.

The Daily Mash - World distracted from economic collapse by slightly better camera

Has Apple cancelled Christmas? All the zealots are looking really quite glum this morning.

Even caught one or two looking up HTC Sensation specs, it's like end of days.

What is worrying is I can't see what else people were realistically expecting.

Its got a better camera, supposedly faster 3g connections and a faster processor.

What more were people realistically expecting? Especially as Apple ruled out a larger screen last year.

I've been using IOS 5 for a few months now so I wasn't expecting many surprises but the hardware doesn't seem like a big enough upgrade to justify it. I'm not due an upgrade until May so I'll wait until then and see what's out. Could be nearly iPhone 5 time by then.

The rumour mill has it that Apple are waiting on improvements in NFC and LTE tech before they push out the iPhone 5. This one was more about filling the gap and iOS 5 than anything else.
