iPhone 5

I am due to upgrade my phone in August. I have been using an HTC desire, but fancy going back to iPhone as it feels more robust and better built. Whats the deal with iPhone 5 is it due out this year? c'mon Jobs get the finger out, they will sell like hot cakes.

I heard its going to release in September but wouldn't surprise me if it got delayed further.

Tomorrow is the big day and I think its now very make or break for Apple, granted there will always be fanboi's who will buy anything they release, but from the rumors around hardware it seems to only be playing catch up with other manufactures.

8MP camera with flash? Done already.
Dual Core 1GHz CPU? Phones with 1.5GHz are already out.
High Res Screen? Sammy have already blown everything else out of the water.

I think Apple are relying to much on this Voice Control System, honestly how many of us have or will ever use voice command after the first week?

Apple do not sell based on having the most powerful hardware. They put decent hardware in a very nice box and make it work well.

Apple don't do cuting edge hardware, they let the competition do that and iron out the kinks. Then they come along and put it all in one package that does it better than everyone else.

The media event starts at 6pm I think. As usual nobody's quite sure what will be unveiled, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, or something else.
