For freeview channels - you can't.

If you mean the BBC / ITV / C4 /C5 streaming services a firestick will give you them.

          Roku.

As the account you set up is free.

Firestick is linked to Amazon and they are randomly silly buggers.

I would lean towards Roku too.

While iPlayer et al are available, there ARE apps which let you stream a feed of live broadcast TV channels. I don't know the legality and I've found them a bit unreliable.

Got a Roku a few weeks ago as BBC iPlayer didn't work on my old TV anymore. Pretty good. No Freeview but a lot of channels and catch up stuff including free ones. Some of the others let you do one off purchases. Forget price, but No Time To Die was quite cheap,

A quick Google suggests there are plenty of freeview set top boxes with HDMI still available...

A quick Google search would also remind you you need a TV socket in the room for that to work... does the OP have one?
