    Just install VM Player on your new machine. Copy the directories containing the VM's onto your new machine.

    It might ask you if you Moved, Copied or Don't know when you start up the VM's on the new machine the first time. Just click on copied.

    VMWare Player migration?

    I've have quite a large number of VM's running on VMWare Player but I'm planning on getting a new PC soon as this thing is 7 years old and struggling! I know things would be much sweeter on a nice i5 or i7 quad core machine.

    Is it possible to migrate VMware Player with the VM's or am I going to have to reinstall everything?
