Oops - two of Nige's kids have German citizenship and their mum is German. I'm not sure that meets his pure nationalist criteria, so it's off to Deutschland for them. Or possibly Rwanda.

Not yet, but I suspect it will talk about clean water, not relying on foreign companies for our energy, supporting those who need help and dealing with the scum at the top.Originally posted by SueEllen View Post
His is party's manifesto been launched?
They may have the most sensible and realistic policies yet.
Anglo-Saxon? Go back to Germany
Norman? - go back to France.
lift the ban on people working while they are being processed for settlement.
Tax off-shore earnings.
Tax “family” trusts used to evade inheritance tax.
I realise that clean water is WOKE, but I am old enough to remember when we were a caring country, not full of hate.

It sounds you are liable for UK tax.Originally posted by escapeUK View Post
This might be what ultimately happens. I already left the UK workforce, I work 100% remotely for USA on double the rate I could get here.
Trouble is when you run from problems, eventually there is no where left to run. Originally when I first considered escaping I thought France but now they have the exact same problems we do. USA difficult to move to, and also huge problems in only the last 4 years.
Perhaps its time to fight rather than flight?

I'm not a socialist either.

To be fair I didn't realise how mad some parties manifestos/contracts are especially on funding.Originally posted by northernladuk View Post
And the second post on each thread should say who cares as they'll either not do them or break them later anyway.
Fiscal drag is apparently not a tax increase.Originally posted by northernladuk View PostThere was an interesting point on the radio yesterday. Something about Labour not increasing certain taxes, but looking back at least one of those same taxes have been raised by every CoE in every budget ever so there is no chance they will never rise. I wish I'd never started taking an interest in the election. It's mind bending to the casual observer :|
There is a massive black hole so taxes are going up.

Thanks to this forum I have found out a lot about Reform and the Greens.
