There are changes coming April 2026 regarding umbrella companies. If this could be a reason Clarity and Lucy have went down this path of consolidation, parent company, and whatever else is not yet known, why? You write as if close to the industry. Is higher potential liability and insurance...

Reassurances are one thing and are always presented during M&A, but the parent company has the capability to do what it pleases and the child companies are controlled by the parent. That's the issue here.
Someone already posted the happenings at the parent company and it doesn't look...

These ramblings are low IQ as hell, but is at least indicative that not all contractors are very bright....

That was my feeling when I checked Companies House for QUITRON HOLDING LTD, a sinking feeling.
Remember that a lot of umbrella company users will be working on government projects with SC, DV, eDV clearances. PSR and any agencies working with them can't take the risk of paying umbrella...

I think this guy has indicated from his posts that English is his third language, so I would cut him a break. Maybe you should get the duolingo out while on the Spanish bench....

In a downturn your advice is rubbish.
With hindsight SchumiStars should've MVLd their company, if they didn't already do that, and applied for whatever benefits they are entitled to. Your libertarian leanings mean you often post silly advice across this forum. We pay a lot of tax, many...

You think if everyone was forced into an office the use of AI (not LLM) and automation in businesses would stop and the grads and young people without a job would suddenly get work? That there would be more jobs? That's before mentioning the cost of the commute in a stagnated or even a lower wage environment...

I found out about Clarity from one of my accountants. I work abroad often and have different accountants for different contracts, as one includes a tax cross border tax accountant.
The FCSA has contacted big agencies to tell them about the removal of Clarity and other linked umbrellas from...

Never used any previous usernames. Used VPN endpoints from a well known VPN provider, do a DNS lookup to confirm this with the IPs you suggest, it's mostly an IT contractor forum after all.
As mentioned in the "state of the market" thread, I work outside contracts only, never...

Look at my posting history. I never recommend umbrellas and won't. Whether you are on weekly or monthly billing today is timesheet dead line afternoon. The only reason anybody found out about this is because the FCSA has phoned big agencies to inform them Clarity and the other 3 listed umbrellas have...

Why wouldn't they jump? What have they got to lose? If their end client is public sector are you suggesting a parent company in Cyprus is ok and business as usual?
Some contractors here are quite frankly idiots and have missed warning signs before with accountant firms, umbrellas, there's...

It's the end of month timesheet time for many contractors with Clarity. I assume those aware aren't submitting their timesheets using Clarity? Won't contracts with Clarity be ended and contractors moving to other Umbrella companies ASAP?

Contacted the FCSA. Clarity have been removed in the last 48 hours from the FCSA website and have had their registration and accreditation revoked:

Two things:
Companies house director changes to persons related to the wider business in discussion.
Insider accountancy information, as they pay for advice from an accountant I also use for one of my businesses.

Yet another distraction post, I await the sanity of NotAllThere to prevail.
You are using techniques to distract from the fact the negotiations occurred in May to July 2025, many weeks ago. Live in your dreamworld as you wish but don't expect others to. I'm leaving Clarity, as will anybody...

You have the option of big brands with no offshore entities or the option of this new Clarity not announced structure.
Removing any bias people have towards Lucy, particularly in favour of her as she seems a good egg, would certainly lead me to be leaving Clarity for a more established...

You have a habit of being new and posting 4 times - so at this stage the most likely scenario is you're related to the Clarity structure in some way, such as being involved with the overall holding company or one of the other umbrellas now linked with Clarity.
Anybody staying with them...

Are you being serious?
There is definitely need for concern. Rather than openly post about the changes here months ago you instead chose to react when it was eventually posted due to somebody randomly spotting the change.
You could've engaged with a UK based business with no holding...
