I would say a good day today. Very impressed with Boox's director/owner rebutted HMRC's constant line of questioning and I was very impressed when asked about clients needing to use the app to notify of payments etc., He quite rightly answered many times how can I provide accountancy services if I have...

This is a rather broad analogy but a good one. The Tribunal we are watching now have Boox and the clients on the stand. In your analogy both the Restaurant and the diners.
The two clients we have heard from so far gave really good compelling arguments why they couldn't be a MSC, particularly...

If I was to use a boxing analogy I would give that round to Hector... just. They took a very long time to get to Boox's advertising and the 'We'll do the Rest For You" but when they did it was like an upper cut after a round of aggressive jabbing. The wording of Boox's advertising may well hurt...

Hard to tell. Cross Examination yesterday and today from Hector's barristers. Defence seems very solid and coherent....

Obviously looked and sounded good from the defence side, it's nothing really new same things they said as they said six years ago to HMRC. Didn't stop HMRC taking it this far though....

Watching it live, going to London on Friday. Opening Counsel is very convincing and it does appear the Judge at the moment is very sympathetic to the defendants case. They have agreed to allow the PSC who was due to testify... give evidence. So far so good. Be interesting to hear what HMRC come up ...

On Tribunal eve, HMRC have conceded the first of the Boox cases going to tribunal. Not yet because the proof is the company was not an MSC but on a legal technicality (failing to send the LTD owner the Debt Transfer Notice in time). Seems a sly manoeuvre rather than a legal one as it seems HMRC did...

Judging by shampoo's recent post you don't need it. Pretty brilliant post by shampoo....

I hear you eek but it's deja vu I am pretty sure Dan got involved the last time. The report will be excellent and give people lots of hope I'm sure...

I'm always wary of group costs as they just seem to go on forever and ever. It's never no win no fee and from what I have read over many years of this forum I can't see where any of the big groups have actually achieved anything. Other than a carthartic factor.
Independent advice probably...

There's quite a few lounges now which can be paid for, it's not the airline's loyalty lounge (they don't want chavs and peasants near their business travellers) but they are a decent alternative to spending time with the said chavs and peasants waiting for their Rynnair flights.

This is all such a rinse and repeat I do find it a little scary. Lawyers, debt collectors, tax lawyers, tax advisors end result ... confusion.
Absolutely certain same laws were quoted last time around, same wobbly grey lines used etc.,
The difference last time a lot of the schemes had not...

I wonder if it's the bunch who bought out Churchill Knight?...
