Just looked at the latest financials for West 28th Street Limited (Company No: 13231491) for the year ended 31 March 2026.
A couple of facts that stand out from the notes:- West 28th paid £459,992 to Limelight Solutions Limited in 'expenses' this year (up from just £83 the previous year).

Has anyone received their SAR from Trethowans or West28th? In fact has anyone had any reply from W28th?...

I find it interesting that Validoom stated West 28th has made significant amounts of money from this but how is that possible since they aren't FCA registered? Are they collecting money illegally? Or are they admitting it isn't a CCA loan?...

Did West 28th have enough liquid assets to purchase this book in 2022? No
Have they declared this asset since? No
Have they proven the date of assignment? No
Are they FCA registered? No

Has anyone had an acknowledgement or response from a SAR sent to West 28th?...

If Trethowans are trying to get these changed so that they were a regulated loan instead of disguised remuneration then HMRC would have a lot of money to repay. HMRC would be the first to stamp that out. Estoppel comes into this too because it even stated in your contract that these loans were not...

This was the number I called:
the FCA Consumer Helpline at 0800 111 6768
I went through the automated menu till it connected me with an advisor. He then emailed me and from there i was able to send him through my letter. It didn't take too long.
Thanks for the template...

If Martin Lewis's teams mailbox is filled up with the same type of complaints on Monday, i'm sure that'll catch their attention faster than one complaint will. Plus use social media to your benefit. You can tweet any company and tag in a news source....

Since Trethowans are trying to re-write history in changing loans from an EBT to a CCA, i'm hopeful Martin Lewis (Money Saving Expert) a consumer rights advocate would like to be made aware of this. So i emailed my letter to martinlewis@itv.com
