It feels a bit like when Contractor Umbrella
got bought out a few years back, lots of us used to recommemd them prior to that that and before Clarity was set up.

Based on this thread (and the lack of any detailed responses to questions raised) i don’t think anyone sensible would...

Everyone is different. I have periods where i go in all the time, others where i don’t go in for weeks. There are good and bad points to both. I can’t imagine what raising young kids needing school and nursery runs must have been like pre-covid for two people both commuting into the city.

And to not have it in these circumstances i.e. unannounced ownership change, move to offshore, loss of FCSA accreditation, getting flamed on main IT contractor forum with virtually no response. I wouldn’t use them again based on this and as things stand wouldn’t be able to do my usual “try Clarity”...

You can give youself a P45, done it before when switching to brolly for a while while Ltd remained active.

Doesn’t seem unreasonable for contractors employed by Clarity to expect to hear about such a major change in ownership officially, rather than via an online forum five months later....

The £2k limit is insane. I just love it when governments offer incentives to behave in a certain way and then have a major crack down to stop the behaviour they have been encouraging....

Good that it is being delayed until 2029 at least, maybe it gets binned before then. Very weird thing to be implementing just as you are trying to get re-elected mind! Maybe it is a ruse to get the fiscal rules to add up now - in the hope that the sunlit uplands have started before 2029 and they can...

I do BA/Product roles and saw that it found lots of options for me. I’ve not been looking for a couple of years and am sorted to mid 2026 (all being well) so won’t get to use it in the wild for a while - but have bookmarked it for next time i’m on the lookout.
