That's my biggest "win" since (checking) May 2023 when I got £350....

Morning all
Woke up and looked out the window to see the moon reflecting off our pond in a way that reminded me of the Casino sign at the start of Goldfinger. Even though the skies were clear, it was 7C, so I'm not complaining there. The dawn chorus started around 6.30

1. What country is the contract from (I did quite a bit of work in Europe on Swiss contracts)
2. What country is the work going to be done? (You may say it’s WFH, but is there any on-site expected?)
3. What currency will you be raising the invoices...

Drove to Canada today and got home with still over 120 miles range, possibly helped by putting the car into self drive mode (except you can’t call it that, and you can’t let go of the steering wheel for more than 15 seconds, but there’s no need to steer, speed up or slow down, the car does it all....

Sunshine and some blue skies out, for a change.
A very loud squall blew through about 21:00 yesterday, for a moment I thought it was a Chinook landing on the roof of the house.
Must fill the bid feeders today.

It's what you voted for, you are completely in agreement with "the self-appointed Brussels bureaucracy".
You wanted the UK to do badly, the UK is doing badly, you're blaming the EU and Labour for the results of your choices....

TFIF, etc.
Heavy rain overnight, but the clouds were disappearing as we went out earlier, and it's now clear skies.

So, the headline of the article is basically "Positive things are happening, no thanks to Labour who are responsible for all debt and should hang their heads in shame" and then a few paragraphs down "People reacted childishly to Liz Truss' brilliant budget and it's the people's fault...

It's the Telegraph, their demographic is those with multiple properties or those aspiring to have multiple properties. House prices going up means those people see their investments going up. The fact that higher house prices pushes those renting or wanting to get on the property ladder into debt or...

Walk was successfully accomplished in the dry. There's a slither of sunshine below some very dark clouds the look like the amber warning may be coming into force before its current 3pm time.
Bumped into the plumber while out walking. He was telling me that during the worst of the weather on Monday...
