It's almost as disgraceful as when I worked in offices full time - staff would regularly go out for a fag break, stand and chat by a coffee machine, make personal phone calls, even go for a walk at lunchtime! Nobody said anything, but I knew those lazy WFO staff couldn't be getting any actual work done...

Some rather aggressive responses in this thread in a professional forum but, putting that aside, the points they make are genuine in my view.
Signing the contract "under protest" is meaningless in law and will make no difference to whether the terms apply.

Do you think you speak for all contractors on here? Do you know the financial circumstances of the average member, or are you basing your opinion only on the few folks who seem to spend their lives chatting on these boards?
I'm fortunate enough to be an old fogey who's managed to pay off...
