Grey day out this time, though it's expected to brighten up soon. The current 10°C will soar to 19° before it clouds over again in late afternoon; the barometers are hardly up at all at 1011/1019mB
Cool in here at 18.1 deg, 18.5 in the kitchen, 16 in the leanto.
1016.5 mBar, 30.02 in Hg, 762.43 Torr, 14.743 psi, (up from 1015 last night), 62% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 17th of January 2020 LM's thing had done its thing and she'd sent the data off covered in caveats despite not trusting it, Brillo popped in to bag an OM, BR14 popped in to comment on evil, and I was playing DSOTM at a comfortable volume since the old lady next door was now in a home & the house was unoccupied so I could listen at reasonable volume without disturbing anyone whilst awaiting the end of the TD cycle.
Walk (abbreviated) walked in the sunshine.
Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: my tinnitus. And looking at crap on FB.
Freecell score: 83%, running average: 82%.
More potching in the garage working on the grandfather's toolbox: some of that plastic padding wood filler was used, following on from the wood hardener stuff the day before yesterday.
Tea: battered haddock, nice enough.
Entertainment: PM. Doctor Who: Spearhead from Space E1, 2, 3, 4. Odd that this seems much better than yesterday's offering.
Much reading of Alfred Bester's short stories.
Bits of Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. Is it really 40 years ago? Back in the days before everything went digital mad? Tina looking really fit, too. .
Morning all from a sunny Mallorca.
Onto my second non-billing day of the week, and I’m spending it helping sort out computer “problems”. It’s very rare that a standalone computer has a problem that isn’t the user, or caused by the user.
One of the problems in this case is that the user popped her clogs. This is a new one for me to have to deal with.
Just back from old farty arty thing with me near neighbour. Tired, snore. No karaoke this evening thank god I don't believe in. Must get on with me patio if that darn frog has hopped it. Or croaked.
